Our client is a AAA growing game development studio with an established reputation as one of Europe's leading game companies.
They are now looking for a Technical Combat Designer that will work on visual effects, destruction and technical combat design. You will collaborate with artists, designers and programmers to develop workflows and features using a combination of proprietary editors and visual programming.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will be part of a team bridging art and design, which will mainly be using in-house tools to create high-quality visuals, features and game-systems;
You will be working on robot and humanoid combat, maintaining and improving upon existing and future content;
You will collaborate with art and design departments, and working closely with programmers to ensure that current and future features and workflows are efficient and flexible.
WHO YOU ARE
You have solid experience with art and design pipelines for video games or software;
You are experienced with graph-based scripting and/or C++;
You have a desire to create elegant technical and visually impressive features.
You have a background in a relevant programming field, e.g. gameplay;
You have in-depth technical experience with Maya or similar 3D-packages.
