Can you attract high volumes of casual gamers and retro fans? We are seeking a senior community manager to join our team in the heart of London. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated/energetic and have a proven track record of rapidly building audiences through social channels via posts and videos. A positive ‘can do’ attitude and an ability to spot social trends are absolute musts.
Role: Community / Social Manager
Hours: Full time
Salary: Dependent on experience
Location: Central London
Your primary responsibility will be to grow and manage the community around Antstream. You will be the conduit between our service and our fans.
Other responsibilities will include:
Attracting new gamers through social channels and our website.
Building the community through social channels pre and post launch and help create community-generated content, community discussions and sign ups.
Become a personality for our company across social media and video channels, including Twitch and YouTube. This will involve recording news segments around our service, filming interviews with superstar developers and attending and capturing gaming events around the world.
Work with external content creators to deliver additional content to our channels.
Keeping the community informed of new game drops, feature updates and asking for feedback.
Collating community feedback and reporting it back to our development team.
Finding ways to engage with our users, and helping to build a great relationship with them.
Creating competitions and community events to draw people into the Antstream service.
Reaching out to fan communities (Cosplay, fanart etc.) and creating cross-promotional opportunities.
3+ Years Community Management experience with the Games industry
Great communication and presentation skills
Strong understanding of social engagement KPI’s
Ability to record, edit and package video footage
Able to attend shows around the world
Great social media presence
Great knowledge of retro games
An endless fountain of ideas and enthusiasm
Other languages a bonus!
