This leading Asian online games publisher seeks an experienced PR Manager with games industry experience. Working within the Games Marketing Team, the role is expected to take ownership for all product communications.
The successful candidate will work closely with EU and US based community management teams, the Product Manager, the Influencer Relations Manager and the Marketing Manager to ensure on-brand and consistent communications. Furthermore, he or she will be responsible for the daily management of external PR agencies.
The PR Manager will work closely with external development studios to communicate their creative vision effectively towards Western audiences and be responsible to plan, deliver and execute PR plans for all products hitting pre-set objectives and/or KPIs.
Develop and execute PR plans for all titles ensuring approvals and input has been achieved by partnered development studios and internal stakeholders
Schedule and achieve planned dates for all product deliverables and ensure regular communication of planned dates to internal and external stakeholders
Liaise with product management team, developers and external agencies to manage code duplication and asset distribution for PR usage
Work closely with the Marketing Manager, the Influencer Relations Manager and the Head of Marketing & PR to ensure combined objectives are met
Establish a strong working relationship with key members of press
Work closely with distributors, partners & agencies to ensure timings and assets are scheduled to secure maximum coverage in their territory
Approximately 3-5 years of PR experience, preferably within the videogames(PC/Mobile/Console), entertainment, toys or related industries
The ability to forge strong relationships with publications and other stakeholders
Good videogame knowledge, especially regarding mmorpgs
Good writing skills (near-native English is a must)
German and/or French language skills are a plus
Frequent travel may be required
