Do you love retro games with a passion? Antstream is a new video game streaming service coming soon to mobile and desktop platforms.
Just like Netflix or Spotify, we’ll be adding swathes of new content to the platform on a weekly basis, and we’re looking for a retro-crazy community manager to help spread the word about our ever expanding games library.
The work will be exciting and varied, and there’s great potential to put your stamp on our brand. If you’re crazy enthusiastic about retro, this could be your dream job.
Job Title: Community & Social Content Manager
Hours: Full time
Salary: £35-40k (based on experience)
Location: London Bridge, London, UK
Closing Date: 17th June 2018
You’ll be responsible for helping to create and grow the community around our streaming service, acting as a conduit between our service and our audience.
Keeping the community informed of new game drops, feature updates and asking for feedback.
Become a personality for our company across social media and video channels, including Twitch and YouTube. This will involve recording news segments around our service, filming interviews with superstar developers and attending and capturing gaming events around the world.
Collating community feedback and reporting it back to our development team.
Finding ways to engage with our users, and helping to build a great relationship with them.
Work cooperatively with our marketing department to attract new customers
Creating competitions and community events to draw people into the Antstream service.
Reaching out to fan communities (Cosplay, fanart etc.) and creating cross-promotional opportunities.
Skills / Qualiifications
4+ Years relevant experience as a Community / Digital Manager
An international portfolio of work
Need to speak Japanese - other languages a bonus too
Great communication skills
Ability to record, edit and package video footage
Able to attend shows around the world
Great social media presence
Great knowledge of retro games
An endless fountain of ideas and enthusiasm
