Want to work for a AAA studio in Amsterdam? 

I'm looking for an Animation Systems Programmer to help build and optimize a new animation system for their upcoming titles.

Your Job: 

You will help build, optimize and support a new animation system that allows animators to create blend trees, state machines and runtime rigs in a tool, which will cross-compile them to native code for maximum performance
You will iterate with other programmers, animators, riggers and designers to enhance areas like character movement, interaction with the environment, hit responses, facial animation, procedural animation and in-game cut scenes
You will keep up-to-date with new developments in your field, and independently research and develop improvements to continuously push our technology forward.

Who you are:

You are articulate, have strong written and verbal communication skills and a good command of the English language
You have a helpful, solution-oriented attitude
You are ambitious and not afraid to try something new
You are an experienced C++ programmer
You have experience with (skeletal-) animation systems
You have a passion for making games

Plusses:

You have experience with NaturalMotion Morpheme
You have a strong mathematical background
You have experience with animation software like Maya or MotionBuilder
You have experience with creating rigs and/or running them in real time
You will need a code sample to apply for this role, with at least 10 files that demonstrate your coding abilities.
