
Assistant Product Manager
The Assistant Product Manager is responsible for developing and implementing organizational frameworks for a variety of task areas within the field of game operations, including developer/customer support, game localization, and monetization. The person is working in close relationship with different internal departments and business partners to help making our players’ gaming experience as smooth as possible.
This position reports to the Lead Product Manager.
Position Responsibilities
•Develop an organizational and technical framework for an efficient technical support to our operators/customers
•Establish formalized procedures to handle critical issues addressed to our development team while minimizing reaction time
•Develop an organizational and technical framework geared towards continuous localization of our game into multiple languages at the same time
•Establish solid workflows involving our internal departments as well as business partners providing localization/support services
•Seek for continuous workflow improvement based on the requirements of various internal stakeholders within the field of game operations
•Support the Lead Product Manager with regard to efficient game monetization workflows
•Support our service-oriented development approach in all the processes to be put in place
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information systems/business administration
•3+ months of project management experience (e.g. internship/apprenticeship)
•Strong analytical skills and technology background
•Knowledge of typical customer/developer support models
•Knowledge of online business models and the micro-transaction concept
•Fluency in English (both orally and in writing)
•Flexibility in terms of working hours
•Adept in standard office as well as web-based applications
•Proficiency in managing database and wiki-type applications

•Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
•Strong time management and organizational skills
•Ability to work independently within very tight deadlines
•Foresighted way of thinking with an attention to detail
•Willingness to work as part of an interdisciplinary, multinational team

Bonus
•Previous working relationship in customer support
•Previous experience in online gaming
•Knowledge of software/game localization processes
•Knowledge of online game monetization (esp. Free-to-Play)
•Knowledge of game engines
•Avid gamer (ideally FPSs/MMOs)
